To support humanitarian efforts, donate to grassroots organisations in Ukraine and foreign NGOs working directly with them.
To support the military, donate to trusted groups working with trusted units.

Ukraine Torch - a registered 501(C)3 that supports several Ukrainian units
Roxolani Trust - a registered Ukrainian Charity with fiscal partners in Europe and Canada, with 100% of donated funds going to humanitarian and military aid

Source and Donate Things
Depending where you are, it may be feasible to source and ship donations of things. While shifting a bit according to the season, here is a not-exhaustive list of high demand items:
Big Stuff
Vehicles
Quads / side-by-sides
Power stations, generators (deisel)
Spent fishing nets
Medical dummies
Gently used exercise, medical equipment
Smaller Stuff
Recent model android phones
Used laptops, tablets, smartphones, screens
Cords, powerbanks, powerhubs
Warm clothing - socks, thermal layers
Waterproof sleep sacks
Boots
Hand and feet heat packs
Snacks, energy drinks, treats
Camping stove fuel (butane)
DIY items: zip ties, duct tape, packing tape, power tools with backup batteries, screws…the list goes on. If it doesn’t have a NATO stock number, a soldier needs to buy it themselves with their own money, no matter how critical it is to their mission.

Join a Convoy
Join me on a future drive to Ukraine or join a convoy led by an organization coordinating bringing vehicles to Ukraine.
Volunteer in Ukraine
Yes you can be helpful, as long as you don’t cause problems for the military and start with humble tasks like spend money, move aid boxes or help tie camo nets. Reach out if you want to learn more.
Visit Ukraine
See above. Being there, seeing what is actually happening, and supporting the local economy is actually helpful. Doubly helpful if you bring a friend.
Buy Ukrainian
Most places ship. I will add my list of favorites soon.

The fight starts at home first. Ukrainians can resist because they continuously, constantly invest in the resilience of their communities. They aren’t waiting for someone else to do it for them or perfectly. They are working together, in imperfect alliances, to get the job done.
